Note: Appointments are virtual only at this time.

Welcome to my website, and congratulations for taking the first step toward finding the right therapist and getting the support you need.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and my office is located in Denton, TX. I can typically make an initial appointment within a week of our first contact.
I received my Masters Degree in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman’s University in 2006. I have had my own practice since March 2009.
I feel very strongly about the value of therapy. The process is powerful and can help an individual gain insight into who they are and how they operate. I believe that this insight, coupled with true self acceptance, can lead to desired changes in one's life.
The first step in this process is to develop a trusting, warm, and authentic therapeutic relationship with each of my clients. I focus on giving you a place where you can truly be seen and understood. From my perspective, you, the client, are the biggest expert on your own life. I will strive to provide you with an authentic, supportive, encouraging, and sometimes challenging therapeutic relationship to help you find the power to make desired changes in your life.
My experience has prepared me to work with clients from a wide range of cultures and orientations. I received training in working with individuals and families to help them find relief from grief, depression, anxiety, and other forms of emotional suffering. I also have a special interest in working with those in the LGBTQ community.
I know that finding the right therapist can be daunting. Please feel free to call me with questions. Even if you decide that my counseling approach is not the right fit for you, I will do my best to refer you to colleagues who may better meet your needs.
